Photo Greeting Card
Gather together all the supplies you will need:
Photograph of your choice
Solid colored light weight paper
12X12 white card stock
Accents to coordinate with your photo
- I used a set of stickers that went with my photo of a bird.
Glue or tape
Instructions
First step: If you are using a standard 4X6 photo cut the solid colored paper to 5X7. Tape your photo to the front of the card.
Note: Your options here are endless. You can choose to place it in the center, bottom right corner, bottom left corner, top right corner, etc.
Second Note: if you want to do any distressing to the paper, do this BEFORE you add the photo
Second step: Add your accents. For this card I used a group of stickers. In other examples I have used paper flowers, copper buckles, ribbon, etc. Your choices will depend on the type of photo you have chosen and your own particular tastes.
To take the stickiness off the back of a sticker, dab an embossing buddy or some type of lightweight powder onto the sticky side of the sticker. Then you can use foam squares, etc.
Third Step: Tape your creation to the front of a 5X7 card. Take the 12X12 piece of white cardstock and cut it down to 10X7 and fold in half.
Step Four: Sign your name to the back! Always take credit for the work you do. You have earned it.
